The author provided me with an ARC copy of this book ahead of time in exchange for an honest review.
Nothing more satisfying, when you truly connect with a book. Like it was written for you if not about you. That was Not Quite Dead! Sarcasm. Whit. Drinking. Cussing. Poor social skills. Ghosts. Family drama. From the first paragraph, this book drags you in. The characters are so relatable. The storyline seems so truthful. The energy and suspense keeps you on the edge of your seat right until the last line. You feel completely entrapped in the plot and yet walk away wanting more and more of Gracie and her crazy life. Trisha has done it again. You are missing out if you don’t give it a read!!
Some of my fav lines:
“Those people who would believe you already know better and those who won’t aren’t listening anyway.”
“Crap on a cracker…”
“I think you are terribly interesting Graciela Harper. I’d be honored to keep an eye on you.”
“We should take a crap in one hand and wish in the other and see which fills up faster.”
“It tastes like syrup and bacon and tearing his clothes off.”
