Thirty-One and a Half Regrets (Rose Gardner Mystery, #4)Thirty-One and a Half Regrets by Denise Grover Swank

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

No secrets. No rules. No regrets.
By far my favorite installment of Rose. Well worth the wait. I was provided an early copy in exchange for an honest review and honesty is all you will get. Spoilers!! I knew I had a lot of expectations of Rose and Denise, but I was only 30% into the book and all my hopes and dreams came true. This was raw with emotion, mystery, thriller, suspense, drama and romance. I loved watching all of the characters grow and become comfortable. I adored watching Rose finally come into herself; I always knew she was an amazing woman, she just had to figure it out on her OWN! I was intrigued that Denise did not hold back; she didn’t sugar-coat the plot or the stories happenings. Rose stood up to everyone! What occurred was real and raw. Rose definitely became a different person before and after Joe. Yet Rose wonders, “how my life had become so wonderful in the midst of such chaos.” In the end, Rose & Mason, yes Mason, realize that they can’t change the past, they give up on their regrets and they can only look towards the future. Wow – I just can never get enough of Rose and I feel like I am a part of her life, her world. Denise even sneaks in killing someone. Lol. Amazing, amazing book. 10 stars!!
